ETCST 2024 has the following highlights:


- A keynote talk from Prof. Kuo-Hsing Kao (TSMC assignee in EU and National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan) and two feature talks from Cihan Aydin (Delta Electronics, Germany) and Jan Huang (ASML, the Netherlands)

- A keynote talk from Sam Huang (Head HR EMEA, Delta Electronics Europe) regarding Human Resource (HR) Perspectives in Industry together with HR experts to provide career advises on Sep. 14th

- ERC experience sharing from Jian-Jia Chen (ERC Consolidator), Chih-Jen Shih (ERC Starting), Pei-Chi Wei (ERC Starting), and Hsin-Fang Chang (executive investigator of ERC Synergy Award).

- Dialogue with Taiwan (Education) to discuss experiences regarding the Jade Scholar (玉山學者) program in Taiwan. Director Chin-Ying Weng, Ministry of Education, Prof. D.T. Lee (台灣高等教育評鑑中心基金會董事長), and two awardees (Chih-Hung Liu and Chung-Feng Wu)

-  Dialogue with Taiwan (Research) to share exchange and research programs with Taiwan as well as experience on DAAD exchange programs

- Five career forums with the following subjects: “Career Changes and Paths – inside Europe”, “Career Changes and Paths – moving into Europe”, “Academia in Europe”, “Engineering and Technology”, “Biotech and Pharma”.
