*Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus visits ZEF on November 6 to
discuss topics related to social investment and poverty reduction with
young researchers *

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus is a Bangladeshi economist and founder of the
Grameen Bank, which provides micro-credit to help its clients establish
creditworthiness and financial self-sufficiency. Micro-finance has
become an essential tool for promoting development. In 2006 Prof. Dr.
Yunus and his Grameen Bank received the Nobel Prize for Peace for his work.

Prof. Dr.  Yunus will visit ZEF on November 6 to discuss with young
researchers. The discussion will be headed by Prof. Joachim von Braun.
We hope that all Junior Researcher (and of course senior staff) of ZEF
will participate in the event.
