According to google map, Kirchenfeldstraße is 1,9km from the main station away.
So you are going to live in the city centre.
Other places like Königsstraße, Shadow Arkaden, Immermanstraße, Oststraße you might want to visit or go shopping are all in a field within 2-3km.

I can't exactly tell how much cosmetics cost here in Germany as I don't use it myself...lol, but the average price of all consumer goods is about 2-3 times higher than in Taiwan, so I suggest you better buy ahead.
And...don't forget to bring some warm clothes, cause you are gonna freeze !
